Bonsai cruising

The Bonsai I, one of the largest of its kind in Vietnam, is a replica of a royal Vietnamese-style dragon boat formerly owned by emperors. The royal oriental design and artistry combined with modern accents and d?cor create a uniquely enchanting, yet cozy ambience.

Built in 2004, the Bonsai I stands 11 meters high, 40 meters long, and 9 meters wide. It can carry up to 160 passengers along with its 50-member crew. Run by an Austrian family, the Bonsai I boasts professional service and a high commitment to excellence. Manager Stefan Ernest and his two children warmly greet each passenger onboard. Staff can communicate in no less than six languages.

Sailing into the sunset, diners can sit back, relax and gaze out at the river and lights while sipping a delicious ice cocktail and enjoying mouthwatering cuisine. The hidden charm of Vietnam truly comes alive onboard the Bonsai I with musical accompaniment provided by the local Hoa Mai orchestra and a Filipino band.

While cruising gently along the Saigon River, the onboard Vietnam Cookery Center Saigon offers diners the opportunity to sample an authentic, traditional Vietnamese buffet. Staff can also organize special events onboard including birthdays, company events, parties and weddings.

Bonsai I dragon boat dinner cruises board at 5 p.m. daily and disembark at 7:30 p.m. at Nha Rong Port, 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, District 4, HCMC.

For bookings or more information, contact the Bonsai Liaison Office on the third floor of the Nam Phuong Building, located at 101 Nguyen Van Thu Street, District 1 or via email addresses including mail@bonsaicruise.com.vn and booking@bonsaicruise.com.vn.
