Danes first, Vietnamese youth second in int’l hospitality contest



At the awards ceremony held in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue Sunday, Doan Thi To Nhan, 25, a waiter at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, took the second prize in the international professional waiter category. Nhan was awarded the first prize in the dessert and sweetmeat making competition.

Ho Tuan Minh, 23, a student of the Ho Chi Minh Restaurant and Tourism School, came second in the amateur categor]y.

Two Danes, Kocemba Jacob and Côte Pirre-luc took the first prizes in the two categories.

Fourteen contestants from 11 countries participated in the international competition.
